The Azure Dance

The Azure Dance is a sacred group dance originating in The Pink Realms. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Goldenrod Desserts as the dancers act out any composition of The Silky Wonder. The dancers perform in a double circle, moving very quickly to the music's nek rhythm. This dance is a refined artform, with one special position to be mastered. The entire dance has a basic movement called the oth. There is a series of eight steps in a figure-eight pattern with a debauched hand gesture and a strong backward bend. The proud undulating dance is punctuated by high body level and graceful footwork.

• The dance begins with the introduction of the music. This section is punctuated by sinuous counterclockwise eighth turns.
• The dance enters a new section with the passages of the music. This twisting joyous section is punctuated by forward bends.
• The ushav the fundamental dance position. There should be a serene right leg lift with a low backward bend shadowed by group members.
