The Ashen Lutes is a sacred solo dance originating in The Pulley of Strategies. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Geared Fate as the dancer acts out the story of the dwarf deity The Wire of Trade. The sinuous dance is punctuated by refined spins, intense facial expressions and undulating clockwise eighth turns.
