The Washed Shore

The Washed Shore is a sacred group dance originating in The Robust Berry. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Teal Paddles as the dancers act out the story of the deity Zepave Fishweather. The dancers perform in a circle, moving to the music's nanotha rhythm. The joyous sprightly dance is punctuated by vivacious independent body movement mirrored by group members and proud hand gestures.

• The dance begins with the theme of the music. This expressive section is punctuated by vivacious runs, elaborate backward bends and aggressive clockwise eighth turns.
• The dance enters a new section with the variations on the theme of the music. This fluid section is punctuated by twisting spins performed in succession by group members.
