The Moist Bird

The Moist Bird is a sacred solo dance originating in The Tress of Bewildering. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Splash of Winter. The dance is punctuated by right leg lifts, with aborted moves.

• The dance begins with the passages of the music. The dancer performs very slowly with the music. This section is grotesque.
• The dance enters a new section with the bridge-passage of the music. The dancer performs very quickly with the music. This section is crude.
• The dance enters a new section with the finale of the music. The dancer performs slower and slower with the music. This section is punctuated by clockwise quarter turns.
• The dance enters a new section with the coda of the music. This section is punctuated by independent body movement.
