The Glimmer of Sisters

The Glimmer of Sisters is a war dance which grew out of the performances of The Fragrant Snarls. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Sparkle of Styling. The dancers perform in a circle turning counterclockwise. The dance is lively, sharp-edged and powerful.

• The dance begins with the theme of the music. This vigorous section is punctuated by expressive independent body movement and rightward bends, with large moves.
• The dance enters a new section with the bridge-passage of the music. The dancers perform very quickly with the music. This graceful strong section is punctuated by curved walks and raised left arms.
