The Euphoria of Trumpets

The Euphoria of Trumpets is a devotional form of music originally devised by the dwarf Morul Salvemartyred. The form guides musicians during improvised performances. The music is played on three belbez and a abal. The musical voices bring melody with harmony. The entire performance is to be very soft. The melody has short phrases throughout the form. The music is broadly layered with chords spanning the range. It is performed without preference for a scale and in the roder rhythm. Throughout, when possible, performers are to alternate tension and repose.

• Each belbez always does the main melody and should evoke tears.
• The abal always does harmony and should bring a sense of motion.
• The Euphoria of Trumpets has a well-defined multi-passage structure: a first theme, an exposition of the first theme, a brief bridge-passage, a second theme, an exposition of the second theme, a bridge-passage and a synthesis of previous passages.
• The first theme gradually slows as it comes to an end. Each of the belbez stays in the pure low register.
• The first exposition is extremely fast. Each of the belbez covers its entire range from the pure low register to the heavy high register.
• The first bridge-passage is very slow. Each of the belbez covers its entire range from the pure low register to the heavy high register.
• The second theme is moderately paced. Each of the belbez covers its entire range from the pure low register to the heavy high register.
• The second exposition is at a walking pace. Each of the belbez covers its entire range from the pure low register to the heavy high register.
• The second bridge-passage is moderately paced. Each of the belbez stays in the pure low register.
• The synthesis is moderately fast. Each of the belbez stays in the pure low register.
• The roder rhythm is a single line with thirty-two beats divided into four bars in a 8-8-8-8 pattern. The beat is stressed as follows:
