The Aquamarine of Bells

The Aquamarine of Bells is a devotional form of music originally devised by the elf Salore Mythden. The rules of the form are applied by composers to produce individual pieces of music which can be performed. Three singers recite any composition of The Truth of Poetry. The entire performance is to fade into silence. The melody has long phrases throughout the form. Only one pitch is ever played at a time. It is performed without preference for a scale and in free rhythm. Throughout, when possible, composers and performers are to use mordents, play rapid runs and play arpeggios.

• Each singer always does the main melody.
• The Aquamarine of Bells has the following structure: a verse and a chorus.
• The verse should be fiery and is moderately fast. Each of the singers' voices stays in the middle register. The passage should be composed and performed using locally improvisation.
• The chorus should be passionate and gradually slows as it comes to an end. Each of the singers' voices stays in the low register.
