The Stable Organization is a ribald poetic form intended to describe order which grew out of the performances of The Monsters of Telling. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single tercet. Use of vivid imagery is characteristic of the form. Each line has four feet with a tone pattern of uneven-uneven. The first line must make use of ambiguity and symbolism. The rhyme scheme of the poem is AAB.
