The Beard of Waxes

The Beard of Waxes is a poetic riddle concerning the hunt originally devised by the dwarf Logem Claspbells. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is divided into five quintains and a verse paragraph.

• The first part is intended to make an assertion. Certain lines often contrast underlying meaning.
• The second part is intended to invert the previous assertion. Certain lines often contrast underlying meaning.

Events

• In early spring of 160, The Beard of Waxes was created by the dwarf Logem Claspbells in Staketeachers
