The Periwinkle of Mouths is a solemn poetic form intended to beseech Mogem originally devised by the human Ile Cooksweep. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single quintain. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines often share an underlying meaning, they are required to maintain phrasing and they use the same placement of allusions. Each line has nine syllables.
